Digital Millennium Copyright Act Policy
Last updated: 20 October 2026
Welcome to the DJ8 promotion site at dj8.live (the "Site"). We respect the intellectual property of others and ask our visitors to do the same. This policy follows the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), Title 17, United States Code, Section 512(c). It explains how copyright owners can ask us to remove material they believe infringes their rights.
Notice of infringement: making a claim
If you believe material on the Site uses your copyrighted work without permission, send a written notice to our DMCA agent at [email protected] with the following details:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner, or of a person authorised to act for them.
- A description of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed.
- The address (URL) of the page on the Site where the material appears, and enough detail for us to find it.
- Your name, postal address, phone number and email address.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or are authorised to act for the owner.
We will review every complete notice and, where it is valid, remove or disable access to the material quickly. Incomplete notices may not be acted on.
Counter notice: restoring material
If material you provided was removed and you believe this was a mistake, you can send a counter notice to [email protected] with:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- A description of the material that was removed and the address where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address and phone number, and a statement that you accept the jurisdiction of the relevant court and will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice.
When we receive a valid counter notice, we may forward it to the person who made the original claim. The material may be restored in 10 to 14 business days unless that person tells us they have started court action.
Repeat infringers
We will remove material from anyone who repeatedly infringes copyright on the Site.
Misuse of this process
Sending a false notice or counter notice can make you liable for damages, including costs and legal fees. If you are not sure whether material infringes your rights, please get legal advice first.
Changes to this policy
We may update this DMCA Policy at any time. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
